Dedicated Engineering Teams
Senior engineers, embedded in your team, managed by an operator who's on the hook for the outcome.
You don't need another staffing agency. You need a team of senior engineers who join your Slack on day one, ship production code by week two, and stay long enough to actually know your codebase. We've built that team. We've been running it for 20 years. You can rent it by the engineer, by the squad, or by the full department.
What Most Companies Get Wrong About Offshore Engineering
Most companies trying to scale engineering capacity hit the same three traps. The first is Toptal-style freelancer marketplaces — you get a senior engineer, but you also get every management cost: scoping the work, integrating them, reviewing their code, and pulling them off when priorities shift. The senior engineer is real; the management overhead is invisible until it's eating your week.
The second trap is large staff-aug firms — BairesDev, Andela, Turing at scale. The engineers are real, but the account-management layer is built to optimize their revenue per seat, not your roadmap. The "team lead" you get is a coordinator, not a builder. When something goes wrong, escalation runs through a help desk.
The third trap is direct-hiring a small offshore team. It works until your first key engineer leaves, your "team lead" turns out to be 24 and learning on your dime, or quality drifts the moment you stop watching.
Operator-led engineering teams exist to solve all three. You get a named senior operator (US or Israel) who would be your fractional CTO in any other context, and a vetted India bench they know personally, manage daily, and stake their reputation on. You get the senior judgment of a Toptal freelancer with the architectural ownership of a CTO and the cost structure of an offshore team.
What You Get When You Hire a Team From Us
Named senior operator
A US or Israel-based technologist who owns your account. Architecture, code review, escalation, weekly standup. The same person from day one until you fire us.
Vetted engineers, not random freelancers
~150-specialist bench, 1-in-20 acceptance rate, paid trial sprint before they hit your codebase. You meet them, you veto anyone you don't want.
Embedded in your workflow
Your Slack, your Jira, your GitHub, your standups. They use your email domains if you want. Not a "weekly status update" relationship.
Elastic capacity
Start with two engineers. Scale to ten when funding closes. Drop to one when the priority shifts. 30 days notice, no penalties.
Engineer swap at our cost
If someone isn't clicking — technically or culturally — tell your operator. We swap within 5 business days at our cost. No performance theater.
Code you own from day one
US LLC contract, IP assignment signed before any code is written, clean repos, 30-day termination, no hostage clauses.
Team Shapes We Build Most Often
Most engagements fall into one of four patterns. We can build anything; these are the ones we ship constantly.
The Squad (3–5 engineers, 1 operator)
One full-stack squad inside a larger engineering org. Typical mix: 1 senior backend, 1 senior frontend, 1 mid-level full-stack, 1 QA, fractional DevOps. Used by Series A-C companies who need to ship a specific product surface fast. Operator is 50% allocated.
The Pod (5–10 engineers, 1-2 operators)
A full delivery pod owning a product line or major initiative. Typical mix: 2 senior backend, 2 senior frontend, 1 mobile, 1 DevOps, 1 QA lead, 1 product engineer. Dedicated tech lead inside the pod. Operator runs architecture and reports to your CTO or VP Eng.
The Department (10–25 engineers, 2-3 operators)
For companies effectively replacing or augmenting an internal engineering org. Multiple pods, dedicated DevOps, dedicated QA, dedicated platform team. Senior operator acts as a fractional VP of Engineering.
The Solo Senior (1 engineer + fractional operator)
A single senior engineer embedded in your existing team — often for a specialized capability (mobile, ML, DevOps, specific stack). Operator does monthly architecture review. Lowest-commitment shape we offer.
Stacks We Specialize In
We hire deep, not wide. The bench is concentrated in stacks we've shipped to production with our own SaaS products.

If your stack isn't here, ask — we may still have capacity. If we don't, we'll tell you instead of pretending.
How We Compare to the Alternatives
| Eternitech | Toptal / Turing | BairesDev / Andela | Direct Offshore Hire | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Senior operator on account | Yes, named | No | Coordinator only | No |
| Architecture ownership | Operator owns it | You own it | Coordinator escalates | You own it |
| Engineer vetting | 4-stage, 1-in-20 | Marketplace claim | Internal recruiter | You do it |
| Minimum commitment | 3 months | None (hourly) | 6-12 months | Permanent |

| 30-day termination | Yes | N/A | No | N/A |
| Own SaaS portfolio | 15 products | No | No | No |
| Pricing transparency | Public ranges | Public hourly | Sales-driven | DIY |
We're not the cheapest. We're the model that costs the least to manage.
How It Actually Works
The full operating model — vetting, onboarding, the operator's job, what happens when things break — is documented end-to-end on a dedicated page. The short version:
- 1. Scoping call with the operator who would own your account
- 2. Team proposal within 5 business days — specific named engineers, rates, shape
- 3. Contracts + onboarding in week 2
- 4. First production code ships by week 3-4
- 5. Monthly retrospective with the operator for the life of the engagement
Pricing
We post real ranges because every engineering-team buyer is comparison-shopping, and we'd rather you do it with our actual numbers.
| Engineer Level | Monthly Rate (USD) | What You Get |
|---|---|---|
| Mid-senior (4-7 years) | $4,500 – $6,500 | Solid execution, ships independently |
| Senior (7-12 years) | $6,500 – $9,500 | Owns features, mentors juniors, design judgment |
| Senior + architect (12+) | $9,500 – $14,000 | System design, complex problems, tech lead capability |
| Operator (fractional, 25%) | $2,500 – $4,000 | Architecture review, weekly standup, escalation |
| Operator (dedicated, 50%+) | $5,000 – $9,000 | Full ownership of the engagement |
Who This Is For — and Who It Isn't
A great fit if you're:
- A funded startup (Seed to Series C) that needs to scale engineering without scaling US payroll
- A mid-market company augmenting a small internal team
- A CTO who needs senior capacity without a 6-month recruiting cycle
- An agency that needs an invisible engineering department (see White-Label Delivery →)
- Building in a stack we already specialize in
- Comfortable with daily async + scheduled standup overlap
Not a fit if you're:
- × Looking for hourly contract work under $5K/month
- × Hard-requiring engineers physically in your office
- × Needing on-call coverage in time zones we don't reach
- × Operating in a stack we'd have to learn on your dime (we'll tell you instead of bluffing)
- × Looking for the absolute cheapest option (we're not)
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I start with one engineer to test the model?
Yes. The Solo Senior shape (one engineer + fractional operator) starts at $5K/month with a 3-month minimum.
How fast can you have a team in place?
Two weeks from contract signing to first production code, in most cases. We propose specific named engineers within 5 business days of the scoping call.
What if I need to scale down?
30-day notice to drop an engineer. No penalty. The 3-month minimum applies to the engagement, not to every engineer indefinitely.
Do the engineers work in my time zone?
They work India hours, with a guaranteed 4-hour overlap with US East Coast and a fuller overlap with EU clients. For US West Coast, the overlap is tighter — we'd discuss whether it works for your workflow.
Can I interview the engineers before they start?
Yes. We propose, you interview, you veto. We replace anyone you're not comfortable with.
Who owns the code?
You do. Signed IP assignment before any code is written.
What stacks don't you do?
We don't have deep bench in Java enterprise, .NET enterprise, Salesforce, or SAP. If you need those, we'll say so.
How do I know you're not just reselling random freelancers?
Because we use the same engineers on our own 15 SaaS products. The bench is real; our money rides on it.
